The exhibition looks at Black British cultural identities, heritage and creative voices – and documents the struggle Black British artists faced to have their voices heard from the 1960s to the 1990s. The design brief was for the exhibition visual identity, interpretation panels, labels, signs, banners, poster and the exhibition guide. The exhibition arose from a partnership between the Friends of the Huntley Archive at the LMA, Guildhall Art Gallery and the London Metropolitan Archives with support from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
